Senior Data Scientist

About the role

Machine Learning Reply Austria is looking for a Senior Data Scientist to design and deliver end‑to‑end data science solutions for its clients. You will work on cutting‑edge projects across multiple industries, bridging technical implementation and business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy state‑of‑the‑art machine‑learning algorithms in an agile environment.
• Analyse client problems, propose effective data‑driven solutions and oversee their production deployment.
• Collaborate with technical teams and management to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
• Stay up‑to‑date with emerging technologies and work with leading technology partners.

Required profile

• Completed studies in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or a comparable field.
• Solid experience with Python and either JavaScript or Java.
• Strong software‑engineering skills including algorithms, data structures, OOP, CI/CD and automated testing.
• Good German and English communication skills and willingness to travel when required.

Required skills

• Machine learning and statistics (NLP, recommender systems, time‑series, computer vision).
• Cloud services (AWS or Azure) or on‑premise deployment experience.
• Agile development concepts such as Scrum.
