Customer Architect – Elastic Solutions

About the role

Elastic, the Search AI company, is looking for a Customer Architect in its EMEA Customer Architects team. The role acts as a trusted technical advisor to customers, helping them adopt Elastic solutions (Observability, Cybersecurity, Enterprise Search) so that they exceed expectations and grow their use of the platform. The work is mostly onsite with customers and involves travel.

Key responsibilities

• Work with the account team, including the Account Executive and Solutions Architect, to give ongoing technical coverage while the account team identifies new deals.
• Define a technical success plan for each customer, outlining the optimal use of Elastic solutions to meet their business objectives.
• Guide customers from onboarding through adoption, removing technical frictions and ensuring a smooth customer journey.
• Articulate the value proposition of Elastic solutions and align them with customer business goals.
• Liaise with support teams to optimise resolution and adoption.
• Identify expansion opportunities and suggest upgrades and enhancements to increase consumption and ARR.
• Build long-term customer relationships and drive continued utilisation of Elastic solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or a related field, highly preferred.
• Fluency in German and English; French is a plus.
• Experience in a similar role such as Solutions Architect, Technical Consultant or Pre-sales Engineer.
• Hands-on experience with Elastic solutions or equivalent technologies.
• Excellent communication, presentation and social skills, and proven problem-solving ability.

Required skills

• Experience with one or more Elastic solutions (Observability, Security, Enterprise Search) or the Elastic stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) is a plus.
• Ability to lead multiple projects and meet deadlines.
