Restaurant & Banquet Manager (m/f/d)

About the role

The 25hours Hotel at MuseumsQuartier in Vienna is looking for a Restaurant & Banquet Manager. The role covers the operational management of the restaurant and banquet department, including budget targets and high-quality service, and involves motivating and developing the service team while working alongside them in both areas.

Key responsibilities

• Operate the restaurant and banquet department successfully, achieve budget targets and ensure smooth, high-quality service.
• Motivate the team, coach and develop the service crew, and organise trainings, team meetings and briefings.
• Create a "WOW experience" for guests and work alongside the team in the restaurant and banquet areas.
• Handle administrative tasks such as staff scheduling, manuals and checklists, and reservation management.
• Stay calm under pressure and adapt quickly when plans change.

Required profile

• Initial leadership experience in a similar role, ideally within the hospitality industry.
• Enjoys working with career changers and apprentices and runs a professional, structured recruiting and onboarding process.
• Confident in service organisation and able to create efficient duty rosters.
• Takes responsibility, works independently and contributes ideas to improve the restaurant, optimise processes and support marketing and sales.
• Passionate about food and drinks and Italian cuisine, and hands-on.
