Photo Lab Operator (Part‑time)

About the role

Lomography is seeking a motivated and organized individual to run its photo lab at the Vienna headquarters on a part‑time basis. You will handle film development, scanning, image processing and printing while supporting the lab’s daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Operate the minilab: develop film, scan, process images and print.
• Prepare films for partner‑lab processing and research technical lab questions.
• Suggest workflow improvements and perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Communicate with service technicians, monitor consumable stock and check incoming films.
• Upload scans to the LomoLAB backend and assist with film tests, hand‑spooling and repairs during slower periods.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of analogue photography.
• Manual dexterity in handling film.
• Detail‑oriented, independent working style and willingness to learn.
• Good communication skills.
