About the role
We are seeking a motivated and organized individual to run the Lomography photo lab at our Vienna headquarters. You will operate the minilab, handle film development, scanning, and image processing, and support various lab tasks.
Key responsibilities
- Operate the minilab (film development, scanning, image processing, printing)
- Prepare films for partner‑lab processing and research technical lab questions
- Suggest improvements to lab workflows
- Clean and service minilab and scanning equipment, performing routine maintenance
- Communicate with service technicians and monitor stock of consumables
- Check incoming films, upload scans to the LomoLAB backend
- Assist with film and development tests, hand‑spooling, and repairs during slow periods
Required profile
- Basic knowledge of analogue photography
- Manual dexterity in handling film
- Detail‑oriented and able to work independently
- Willingness to learn and good communication skills
