Head of Finance

About the role

AMEX Healthcare delivers healthcare projects in more than 120 countries as a partner to the United Nations and international aid organisations. It is looking for a Head of Finance for a leadership position based in Vienna, working directly with the CEO and entrepreneurial leaders. The role is open to candidates who have not previously held this title but have made a difference.

Key responsibilities

• Turn financial insight into better strategy, investment decisions and profitable international projects.
• Take responsibility for accounting, controlling and treasury, strengthening planning, cash flow, working capital and project margins.
• Lead and develop the finance function, improve reporting and systems, and work closely with sales, procurement and operations.

Required profile

• Hands-on finance experience and sound judgement across financial reporting and cash flow.
• Evidence of being able to lead people or significant workstreams.
• Ability to learn quickly, think clearly and turn ideas into results consistently.
• Ownership, constructive challenge and a focus on making colleagues better.
