Associate, Tax

About the role

Bitpanda is looking for a Senior Associate, Tax Compliance & Reporting to support domestic and international tax obligations across the Group. You will work closely with internal teams and external advisors to ensure accurate filings and help shape tax strategy for new financial products.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate CIT and VAT compliance for multiple jurisdictions.
• Assess tax implications of cryptocurrencies, digital assets and traditional securities.
• Oversee international tax matters, including transfer pricing and permanent establishment risks.
• Collaborate with Accounting, Legal, Product and Compliance to embed tax requirements into business processes.
• Support tax audits, regulatory inquiries and lead automation projects.

Required profile

• University degree in economics, preferably with a tax or accounting focus.
• 1–2 years of experience in consultancy or an international corporate tax environment.
• Strong interest in financial products, cryptocurrencies and digital‑asset regulation.
• Excellent written and spoken German and English.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel capabilities.
