Junior Project Financial Controller

About the role

Huawei is looking for a Junior Project Financial Controller in Vienna, Austria. The role manages the financial aspects of projects so they are delivered within budget and on time, working closely with the project team to track spending and cash flow.

Key responsibilities

• Track spending, monitor cash flow and provide financial status reports with the project team
• Carry out monthly revenue and profit analysis for key accounts and review customers' annual reports as requested
• Review financial risks and evaluate gains and losses against a checklist
• Prepare and update the annual budget and run a full rolling forecast monthly
• Organise operational meetings and give early warnings on financial deterioration and risks each month
• Identify abnormal costs and revenue, make manual adjustments and accruals after reporting, and monitor revenue and billing gaps to speed up billing

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or a related field
• Fluent English; German is an advantage
• Eligible to work and live in Vienna

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with financial software
