Data & AI Strategy Consultant

About the role

Machine Learning Reply Austria is looking for a Data & AI Strategy Consultant to bridge strategy consulting and data science. You will advise clients on how data usage shapes strategic decisions and support advanced analytics initiatives across multiple industries.

Key responsibilities

• Develop Data & AI strategies based on client challenges and transform organisations to become data‑driven.
• Analyse and adapt business processes, formulate business needs and translate them into technical requirements with data scientists and engineers.
• Create and guide customer‑specific use‑cases from workshops through implementation.
• Support C‑level decision making with business cases, qualitative assessments and workshops.
• Participate in tenders, RfPs and business development activities.

Required profile

• Strong quantitative background (e.g., Business Informatics, Business Science, Computer Science with economics).
• Experience or interest in digitalisation of business models, platform economies or network industry strategies.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in German and English, able to address upper management.
• Basic knowledge of business process modelling and BI tools.
