Regional PSEAH Consultant – Europe & Central Asia

About the role

The International Organization for Migration seeks a Consultant to support the Regional Prevention of Sexual Exploitation, Abuse and Harassment (PSEAH) Unit for Europe and Central Asia. The role provides strategic advice, case‑management guidance and coordination to ensure victim‑centred assistance across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Advise the Regional Director, Deputy Directors and Chiefs of Mission on PSEAH policy, strategic engagement and programmatic decisions.
• Provide technical guidance and oversight on SEAH case management to country‑level PSEAH Officers and Focal Points, ensuring victim‑survivor‑centred approaches.
• Facilitate timely information‑sharing and coordination of cases between country offices, the global PSEAH Unit and relevant HQ units.
• Support the development and delivery of PSEAH trainings, risk assessments and standard operating procedures.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Gender, Development Studies, International Relations, Law, Social Sciences or related field with at least five years of relevant experience, or a university degree with seven years of experience.
• Professional experience in sexual exploitation and abuse, sexual harassment, child protection, gender‑based violence, or related protection fields.
• Demonstrated coordination experience within the UN system and with inter‑agency partners, NGOs and governments.
• Proven ability to develop training materials, conduct risk assessments and draft SOPs.

Required skills

• Strong written and oral communication in English.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize under pressure and maintain strict confidentiality.
• Knowledge of IOM’s PSEAH policies, ethics and related regulations.
