Head of Insurance (w/m/d)

About the role

Ayvens, a provider of full-service leasing, subscription services, fleet management and multi-mobility solutions, is looking for a Head of Insurance (w/m/d) based in Vienna. You will take strategic and operational responsibility for the insurance business in Austria and Switzerland and lead a five-person insurance team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the five-person insurance team professionally and disciplinarily.
• Steer the business through relevant KPIs, identify potential and drive measures to improve performance and profitability.
• Shape the automotive insurance portfolio strategically.
• Drive process optimisation to improve efficiency and customer experience.
• Manage cooperation with external partners, negotiate independently and build lasting partnerships.
• Ensure regulatory compliance together with internal interfaces.

Required profile

• Leadership experience in the insurance industry.
• Solid experience in insurance sales, product management or insurance operations.
• Ideal qualification as a commercial insurance broker in Austria; an existing insurance broker licence is an advantage.
• Negotiation security in German and English.

What we offer

• Minimum gross salary of EUR 4,500 per month, depending on qualifications and experience, with willingness to pay more.
