Partner Strategy Consultant - Bank Finance Transformation

About the role

SAP Fioneer is looking for a Partner Strategy Consultant for its bank finance transformation practice. You will join a global team working on transformation strategy for banks, helping shape client value propositions, leading strategic initiatives and driving delivery across complex transformation programs. You will also build and deepen relationships with global strategic accounts, supporting business development and sales growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead finance transformation workstreams for banking clients, from diagnosis to execution, with measurable business outcomes.
• Drive sales growth and business development, building long-term relationships with key global clients.
• Work with global strategic accounts, shaping their agendas and engaging them at senior level.
• Turn complex business challenges into actionable roadmaps and technology-enabled solutions.
• Collaborate across product, delivery, architecture and technology to deliver holistic transformation results.
• Engage C-level stakeholders with strategic guidance on banking performance, risk and transformation.
• Contribute to internal capability building and the evolution of the finance transformation offering.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in strategy consulting, with a strong analytical foundation and a track record of driving complex initiatives.
• Extensive finance-for-banks expertise, including industry dynamics, regulatory frameworks and competitive trends.
• Proven ability to lead strategic change initiatives in operational finance environments such as controlling, reporting and planning.
• Fluent English; German is a plus.

Required skills

• Financial steering: KPIs, accounting principles and performance management.
• Hands-on financial transformation experience: process redesign, operating model evolution and system implementation.
• Risk management: assessing, monitoring and mitigating risks in transformation contexts.
• High tech affinity, comfortable with digital tools, data models and transformation platforms.
