Carrier Account Manager

About the role

Huawei is looking for a Carrier Account Manager in Vienna, Austria. The role leads the full sales process for carrier customers, from opportunity exploration and bidding to contract signing and payment collection, and directs the AR-SR-FR (Account, Solution, Delivery) team.

Key responsibilities

• Build trusted, multi-level customer relationships from CXO executives down to operational teams.
• Lead the sales process: opportunity exploration, project initiation and operation, bidding documents, commercial negotiation, contract signing and final payment collection.
• Direct the AR-SR-FR team to align strategy, sales and execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or above in a related field.
• At least one year of professional experience in a similar role.
• Full professional proficiency in English and German; Chinese is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Eligibility to work and live in Vienna.

Required skills

• Solid understanding of 5G/5G-A, optical transport, IP networks, cloud and compute infrastructure.
• Mastery of carrier CAPEX/OPEX allocation, ARPU metrics and ROI calculation.
• Expertise in Incoterms, international finance and tax compliance, and deal structuring.
• Ability to design complex transaction structures that optimise margin and mitigate risk.
• Strong cross-functional leadership and sharp market insight.
