Business Development Manager - Photovoltaic

About the role

Huawei is looking for a Business Development Manager for its photovoltaic business in Vienna, Austria. The role focuses on understanding customer needs in the PV energy area, guiding them on their strategy and operations, and turning those needs into tailored proposals and projects.

Key responsibilities

• Understand named account strategies, business development and operations processes, and steer potential requirements and influence customers' strategies and operations in the PV energy area
• Plan and implement communications, understand customer requirements and guide them
• Develop tailored project proposals and present tailored solutions with explanations
• Workshop with customers and compose technical and commercial proposals for concrete projects
• Plan, promote and implement crucial projects
• Build and strengthen relationships with customer teams to extend sales
• Deliver presentations and speeches at marketing events

Required profile

• Technical background in renewable energy
• At least 3 years of experience in the PV industry
• Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with photovoltaics, inverters and solar energy
• Familiarity with mainstream vendors and their products and solutions
• Ability to develop sales projects independently and experience in project bidding
• Good communication skills, teamwork spirit and strong sense of responsibility
• Fluent German and English
