Trading Operations Specialist – Night Shift

About the role

As a Trading Operations Specialist at Bitpanda you will ensure a secure and smooth trading experience for our 24/7 platform, working the night shift (00:00‑07:00) to keep operations running.

Key responsibilities

• Deep‑dive into financial products, trading and hedging systems and handle market alerts.
• Execute OTC trades and blockchain transactions on behalf of Bitpanda.
• Perform daily settlement and reconciliation of trades.
• Monitor hedging and trading activity, maintaining risk parameter settings as the first line of defence.
• Document processes, propose improvements and recommend system developments.

Required profile

• Experience in trading operations or a similar area; trader certificate is a plus.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset with ability to identify and escalate issues quickly.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational and communication skills in English.
• Willingness to work night shift to support 24/7 operations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Excel.
• SQL or general database experience (plus).
• Familiarity with Bloomberg, Refinitiv (Reuters) or FactSet.
