Technical Product Manager – AI Finance App

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Product Manager to own an AI‑driven finance product end‑to‑end, from strategy and backlog to delivery and regulatory compliance. You will work remotely with a global, multi‑disciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Define and prioritize the product backlog based on value, risk, dependencies and strategic goals.
• Shape technical design with engineering, ensuring correctness of money‑movement, idempotency, ledgering, reconciliation and scalability.
• Make trade‑offs across correctness, speed, cost, reliability and UX, and defend decisions to stakeholders.
• Incorporate regulated constraints (licensing, KYC, sanctions, data residency) as core product inputs.
• Apply AI responsibly: set boundaries for model decisions, keep humans in the loop, define evaluation metrics and handle uncertainty.

Required profile

• Significant experience owning a complex technical product from concept to launch.
• Strong judgement under ambiguity and ability to balance ambition with technical, regulatory and operational realities.
• Comfort reviewing and challenging system design documents and sketching architectures.
• Experience in a regulated, high‑consequence domain such as payments, banking or insurance.

Required skills

• System design (boundaries, datastores, queues, APIs, failure modes, concurrency).
• Hands‑on experience with LLM‑based AI products and evaluation frameworks.
• Understanding of money‑movement correctness, idempotency and reconciliation.
