Shift Leader Electronics Manufacturing (3-Shift)

About the role

ABB's Machine Automation division is looking for a Shift Leader for its electronics manufacturing site in Eggelsberg. The role reports to the department head and involves leading a shift team in a 3-shift operation, ensuring safe, quality-focused and reliable production. The work is fully onsite.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the employees in your shift team, including development discussions and contributions to personnel decisions
• Ensure delivery schedules, quality and performance targets are met within the shift
• Monitor and ensure compliance with occupational safety, ESD protection and workplace conduct requirements
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in your area of responsibility

Required profile

• Completed technical education or vocational training (apprenticeship, technical school or comparable)
• Production experience, ideally with initial leadership or coordination experience
• Very good German, written and spoken, and willingness to work in a 3-shift operation

Required skills

• Good communication and teamwork skills with a strong focus on quality
• Experience with MS Office and SAP
