Senior Frontend Engineer (Angular) – 38.5h

About the role

Formunauts, a fast-growing software company supporting more than 100 charities in Europe and Latin America, is looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer in Vienna. You will work hands-on on the frontend systems, from the Angular-based Cockpit to donation form widgets, shipping features that help charities raise more funds. You will collaborate closely with UX designers, backend engineers and product.

Key responsibilities

• Build and ship new features across the Angular-based Cockpit and donation form systems
• Write clean, tested, well-documented code
• Integrate with REST APIs and collaborate with backend engineers on data flows
• Refactor and improve existing codebases, reducing technical debt
• Write unit and E2E tests to keep the platform stable
• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements and build optimizations
• Take part in code reviews and help troubleshoot production issues

Required profile

• Solid experience with frontend development in a production environment
• Proficiency in TypeScript (must-have)
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs
• Hands-on experience with testing (unit tests, E2E tests with Cypress or similar)
• Comfortable with state management patterns (NgRx, Redux or similar)
• Pragmatic mindset, enjoys collaborative teams

Required skills

• Angular (or similar modern frameworks like React/Vue; willingness to work in Angular)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and build tooling (GitHub Actions)
• Nice to have: PWA patterns, component library architecture and design systems, performance monitoring tools, internationalization, donation/payment form integrations

What we offer

• Salary of 3,900 to 5,000 EUR gross per month on a 38.5-hour basis, paid 14 times a year
