React Developer (All Genders)

About the role

Genetec, a global leader in video surveillance software, is looking for a React Developer to join its team building a new cloud-based work management solution. The role focuses on scalable, stateless cloud architectures and modern, accessible user interfaces, and the team will later launch an Alarm Management initiative for Security Center SaaS.

Key responsibilities

• Build scalable, stateless cloud architectures using Microfrontends and trunk-based development, hosted in Kubernetes
• Build modern, responsive and user-friendly interfaces, considering usability, accessibility and platform-specific patterns
• Think beyond individual components to the full user experience, including loading states, feedback, errors and perceived performance
• Collaborate on reusable UI patterns and components, working with the development team, customers and other stakeholders
• Contribute to conception, implementation and documentation within a Kanban process
• Take part in code reviews and other quality-improving activities

Required profile

• 5+ years of software development experience in an agile environment and a relevant university degree
• Good understanding of modern UX principles and frontend performance (efficient rendering, data loading, large datasets)
• Awareness of accessibility, interaction patterns and information hierarchy
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps and CI/CD processes
• Collaborative mindset, strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team
