Junior/Senior Medical Sales Representative – Austria

About the role

GenePlanet, a global provider of preventive genetic tests (NIPT, cancer screening, lifestyle DNA tests) working with over 5,000 medical centers, doctors and insurance companies, is looking for a Medical Sales Representative to build and grow its network of sales partners (clinics, doctors, medical laboratories) and drive business in Austria. The role is office-based with weekly team meetings at the headquarters in Ljubljana.

Key responsibilities

• Build and grow the network of partner medical centers, clinics, gynecologists, oncologists and medical laboratories to promote and sell GenePlanet's medical genetic testing products (NIPT, Cancer Screen, etc.)
• Implement product promotional activities
• Train and educate external partners on GenePlanet's products and services, especially in gynecology, obstetrics and oncology
• Execute annual plans against defined targets and activities
• Cooperate actively with the sales and marketing team at HQ
• Monitor the competitive landscape and proactively seek new business opportunities

Required profile

• Fluent and proficient German; applications must be submitted in German
• Enjoys fieldwork: 3-4 days a week on the road, about 70,000 km per year, with a valid driving licence
• Strong selling, networking, communication and negotiation skills, with a results-oriented mindset
• Ability to work independently with key stakeholders and within a team
• No sales background or gynecology/obstetrics experience required; candidates from diverse backgrounds are welcome
