Fitness Lead - Media

About the role

Red Bull is looking for a Fitness Lead to join its General Sports and Events Media Network team in Salzburg, Austria. You will lead a holistic fitness media strategy across communication, programming and content production, building a distinctive presence in the fitness space through authentic storytelling and engaging content.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the fitness media strategy, setting priorities based on consumer insights and working closely with Sports Marketing to turn fitness initiatives into media products with the right messaging and brand integration.
• Develop authentic, ownable and innovative content formats and shape the role of Red Bull-owned channels, third-party platforms, creators and strategic partners.
• Serve as the key point of contact for markets worldwide, sharing best practices and turning local stories into narratives with global impact.
• Build relationships across Marketing, Content, Distribution, Channel, Creator Marketing, Production, Insights, Partnerships and Music Services, and with external partners.
• Manage budgets and resources so that investments align with strategic priorities.
• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team, fostering creativity, collaboration and accountability.

Required profile

• 10+ years of practical experience in Media, Communications or Strategy, ideally in media-led companies.
• Solid fitness experience or knowledge.
• Proven track record of leading teams and projects in the media and content industry, with a creative and project management background.
• Natural story seeker with an editorial mindset.
• Excellent written and verbal English, with presentation skills; additional languages are an asset.
• Highly organized, able to manage multiple projects at once.
