Consultant / Advanced Consultant (m/f/d) – Management Consulting

About the role

Oliver Wyman, a global management consulting firm, is hiring a Consultant or Advanced Consultant in Vienna. You will work as part of a project team alongside colleagues of all levels and clients worldwide, solving complex problems and driving meaningful change.

Key responsibilities

• Help teams understand client challenges by conducting research, gathering data, running surveys and interviews, and turning information into clear insights.
• Analyze problems, identify patterns, test hypotheses and help structure recommendations that support client decision-making.
• Contribute to client-ready deliverables such as presentations, analyses, workshops and discussions.
• Build core consulting skills, including structuring work, communicating clearly, contributing to team problem-solving and managing priorities.
• Work across industries and capabilities, with the option to travel within the home market and internationally.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree only.
• Prior internships in consulting-relevant environments (other consultancies, in-house consultancies, or advised industries such as banking and financial services, private equity, transportation).
• No specific academic major or industry experience required; diversity of experience and extracurricular activities is valued.
• Business fluency in German and English.
