Business Intelligence Analyst

About the role

Bitpanda is looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to drive data‑driven decision‑making across product, engineering, operations and finance teams. You will help collect, analyse and visualise key metrics that influence growth for millions of users worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Finance, Product and Operations to identify reporting needs and improve existing dashboards.
• Enable analysts across the organisation by streamlining dashboard creation and supporting a self‑service BI visualisation platform.
• Design and maintain the core data model, ensuring high data quality with dbt models and SQL.
• Unify business intelligence, data engineering and stakeholder requirements to build relevant data sets and models.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in business intelligence, analytics engineering or data analysis.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work across cross‑functional teams.
• Passion for crypto, FinTech and modern investment platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business informatics, applied mathematics or statistics (Master’s a plus).

Required skills

• Experience with BI tools such as Metabase or Tableau.
• Proficiency in SQL, Git, dbt and Python.
• Solid knowledge of data modelling techniques (dimensional modelling, star/snowflake schemas).
• Familiarity with data quality frameworks and data visualisation best practices.
