Anti-Corruption Consultant – Political Party Financing

About the role

The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) is seeking a Consultant to support the political party financing component of its Global Programme against Corruption (GLOZ99). Working remotely under the supervision of the OIC of TSS/CEB/DTA, the consultant will provide research, analytical, and drafting support to ensure transparent and integrity‑focused political financing across Africa, Latin America and Asia‑Pacific.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct desk‑based research on political party financing practices and legal frameworks.
• Prepare background material, analytical notes and draft deliverables for the GLOZ99 addendum.
• Monitor and report on the performance of implementing partners against agreed work plans.
• Assist in donor reporting and contribute to the preparation of briefing documents.
• Collaborate closely with focal points on political party financing and the regional hub in Africa.

Required profile

• Advanced university degree in law, political science, public policy, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in anti‑corruption, political finance, or governance projects, preferably within an international organization.
• Strong analytical and writing skills with the ability to synthesize complex information.
• Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
