Relationship Manager Central Europe (Private Banking)

About the role

LGT Bank Österreich, a branch of LGT Bank AG and the largest international private bank in Austria, is hiring a Relationship Manager for its Central Europe team (Hungary, Romania, Slovenia, Czechia, Bulgaria). The role focuses on acquiring and expanding long-term client relationships in the upscale private banking segment, with holistic, customer-oriented advice and support.

Key responsibilities

• Work independently in a very experienced private banking team covering the Central European markets.
• Acquire and expand long-term client relationships in the upscale private banking segment.
• Provide holistic, customer-oriented advice and support to high-net-worth clients.
• Possibility to take over business ownership and actively expand the respective market (HU, CZ, SI, RO).

Required profile

• Experience setting up your own customer book and a strong network in one of the target markets.
• Several years of experience in upscale private banking or wealth management.
• University degree or similar commercial training; A-level education is required.
• Excellent knowledge of English and the local target market languages (Hungarian, Czech, Slovak, Romanian).
• Professional appearance, excellent manners and discretion.

Required skills

• Excellent investment and banking skills, especially securities and investment advice.
• Very good understanding of financial markets and securities (an advantage).
• High persuasiveness, ability to identify customer needs and solution-oriented approach.
