HR Business Partner (German Speaker)

About the role

Kolsquare, the influencer marketing software used by brands such as Coca-Cola, Danone and Publicis, is looking for an HR Business Partner who speaks German. The role is shared: 4 days a week with Kolsquare and 1 day a week with helloCash, supporting around 35 people managers group-wide. You will report to the VP People and work closely with the People & Culture Manager, who covers employee relations, works councils and manager coaching.

In year one the focus is the Kolsquare–Storyclash integration and progress on performance management, manager coaching and succession planning for critical roles. Success looks like a performance cycle with manager accountability, measurable progress on engagement and retention, an advanced integration, and constructive social dialogue with employee representatives.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to managers and leadership, turning business needs into HR initiatives, org design and workforce planning, and advise on headcount with Finance and Talent Acquisition
• Lead the people side of the Kolsquare–Storyclash integration and future change initiatives, assess readiness, design communication plans and spot friction early
• Build and drive the performance management cycle (goals, calibration, ratings consistency), coach managers on feedback and underperformance, run talent reviews and succession planning, and partner on retention strategies
• Advise on complex employee-relations matters and conflict resolution, and act as the main HR contact for the Austrian Works Council and other employee representatives
• Interpret engagement survey results and use people data (engagement, turnover, performance) to shape recommendations for leaders
• Support Talent Acquisition by opening and coordinating helloCash vacancies (about 3 per year) with the central team and hiring managers
