Technical Marketing Manager for Metering Segment

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Marketing Manager to lead the Metering segment within NXP’s Power & Energy business. The role combines deep technical expertise with market leadership to drive strategy, customer engagement, and solution definition for electricity and flow metering markets.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the global strategy for the ISEM Metering segment, aligning with the overall Power & Energy roadmap.
• Lead engagement with key customers such as utilities, OEMs, and system integrators to drive pipeline and design wins.
• Define system‑level architectures for smart meters, smart panels, and energy gateways, promoting reusable, secure, and scalable platforms.
• Collaborate across product lines (processing, connectivity, security, analog) and ecosystem partners to accelerate time‑to‑market.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in semiconductors, energy systems, or industrial markets.
• Proven track record in metering, energy management, or utility infrastructure solution definition.
• Strong strategic thinking, business acumen, and ability to influence across a global matrix organization.

Required skills

• Microcontroller (MCU) and microprocessor (MPU) platforms.
• Analog front‑end and metrology expertise.
• Connectivity technologies: PLC, wired, RF, Wi‑Fi, BLE, Thread.
• Edge AI and secure infrastructure concepts.
• Hardware‑based security, secure elements, root of trust.
• Cryptographic protocols, secure communications, post‑quantum cryptography.
