About the role
Snap Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Computer Vision R&D team in Vienna. You will work on cutting‑edge computer‑vision algorithms for low‑powered wearable devices and collaborate with hardware and software teams worldwide.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and integrate state‑of‑the‑art computer‑vision algorithms for Specs wearable devices.
- Design tools for performance analysis, code quality, testing and data visualization.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in software engineering, machine learning, graphics and research.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of professional software development experience using modern C++.
- Strong understanding of linear algebra, geometry, optimization and computer‑system architecture.

- SLAM, 3D reconstruction, depth estimation
- Object detection, classification, segmentation, tracking
- Scene understanding
- ML hardware acceleration and common ML frameworks
- Performance profiling (memory, cache, CPU)
