Software Engineer – Computer Vision

About the role

Snap Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Computer Vision R&D team in Vienna. You will work on cutting‑edge computer‑vision algorithms for low‑powered wearable devices and collaborate with hardware and software teams worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and integrate state‑of‑the‑art computer‑vision algorithms for Specs wearable devices.
• Design tools for performance analysis, code quality, testing and data visualization.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in software engineering, machine learning, graphics and research.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of professional software development experience using modern C++.
• Strong understanding of linear algebra, geometry, optimization and computer‑system architecture.
