Senior Brand & Customer Manager, Oncology

About the role

The Senior Brand & Customer Manager, Oncology will lead the marketing of oncology products and services at MSD's Vienna site. You will develop and execute comprehensive strategies, ensuring alignment with global goals and local market needs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement marketing strategies, translating global plans into local L3 brand plans.
• Collaborate with sales, medical, regulatory, market access and digital teams to ensure cross‑functional alignment.
• Manage omnichannel campaigns, budgets, and expense tracking while maintaining compliance.
• Analyse market research, monitor industry trends and adjust tactics accordingly.
• Build relationships with vendors, agencies, key opinion leaders and other stakeholders.

Required profile

• University degree in business, life sciences or related field.
• Several years of experience as a Junior or Brand & Customer Manager in the pharmaceutical sector.
• Deep understanding of the Austrian healthcare system; oncology experience is a plus.
• Strong project‑management and stakeholder‑management abilities in a matrix environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM tools and data‑analytics platforms.
• Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Fluency in German and English.
