Senior Accountant

About the role

AUSTRIA JUICE is seeking a motivated Senior Accountant to join its Tax & Accounting department in Kroellendorf, Austria. You will be responsible for preparing financial statements, VAT returns and supporting audits while ensuring compliance with national and international tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and related reports.
• Handle monthly VAT returns, annual VAT declarations and EC Sales Lists for all VAT‑registered countries.
• Support external and VAT audits and submit statistical reports to Statistics Austria and the OeNB.
• Process tax declarations, refund claims and review VAT‑relevant transactions for compliance.

Required profile

• Certified accountant with a balance‑sheet accounting qualification or a relevant university degree.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, taxation and financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of Austrian Commercial Code (UGB), VAT law (UStG) and basic IFRS.
• Independent, well‑organized, detail‑oriented and able to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Experience with SAP FI and SAP SD modules.
