Part-time HR Operations & Employee Relations Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a part-time HR Operations & Employee Relations Specialist to support our Austrian operations. Reporting to the VP of Human Capital and working closely with the HR Business Partner for Austria, you will help deliver a seamless employee experience across the full lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Administer HR processes from onboarding to off‑boarding, including contract preparation and amendments in line with Austrian legislation.
• Coordinate monthly payroll with an external provider, ensuring accurate and timely data submission.
• Manage employee benefits, leave requests and absence tracking.
• Maintain up‑to‑date employee records in BambooHR as the single source of truth.
• Ensure compliance with Austrian labor law, collective agreements and internal policies.
• Support employee‑relations cases by preparing documentation and facilitating administrative steps.

Required profile

• In‑depth knowledge of Austrian labor law and social security regulations.
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
• Proven experience supporting employees in the DACH region and coordinating payroll with external providers.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational and prioritisation abilities.
• Team‑player attitude with a customer‑service mindset.
