NFC/UWB System Validation Engineer (m/f/d)

About the role

The System Validation Engineer will verify NXP products and their features from a customer system perspective, focusing on NFC and UWB technologies. This position offers the chance to deepen technical expertise and gain extensive product knowledge in the semiconductor field.

Key responsibilities

• Define test plans based on product and system requirements.
• Create, verify, and maintain system test cases, both automated and manual.
• Execute system tests, document results, and generate problem reports.
• Debug issues within an international, cross‑discipline project team.
• Maintain and extend the NFC/UWB system test environment.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of system validation experience, preferably in the semiconductor industry.
• Strong analytical skills and a structured, autonomous working style.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.

Required skills

• Python and/or other scripting languages.
• C programming and microcontroller knowledge.
• Test automation and test management tools.
• Laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
• Standard interfaces: SPI, I2C, UART.
• Version control tools.
