MS&T Scientist Analytics (temporary)

About the role

Join Novartis' Manufacturing Science & Technology team in Kundl to plan and execute analytical experiments on biomolecules. This hands‑on scientific position supports the development of innovative biologics and offers opportunities to lead small projects.

Key responsibilities

• Perform and document analytical experiments using HPLC, capillary electrophoresis, ELISA and spectroscopy.
• Interpret data and communicate results to support product and process understanding.
• Own analytical equipment, coordinating maintenance, qualification and routine performance activities.
• Develop, optimise and implement new analytical methods to drive laboratory innovation.
• Prepare protocols, reports and procedures ensuring accurate scientific documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute expertise to project initiatives.

Required profile

• Master’s degree with at least 1 year of relevant experience, or Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Strong theoretical knowledge of biotechnology, biochemistry or analytical chemistry.
• Hands‑on experience with laboratory equipment and data generation.
• Proficiency with laboratory software, digital tools and data analysis applications.
• Collaborative mindset with strong documentation and presentation skills.
