Local Individual Contractor for Training Simulations on Trafficking in Persons – Money Laundering

About the role

The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) seeks a local individual contractor to support training simulations on Trafficking in Persons (TIP) and Money Laundering. The contractor will work remotely from Vienna, preparing scripts, performing role‑play, and documenting outcomes for two training courses covering El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras.

Key responsibilities

• Develop realistic scripts, character profiles and scenario outlines aligned with TIP and money‑laundering training objectives.
• Participate in preparatory briefings with trainers, facilitators and subject‑matter experts.
• Perform assigned scripted and semi‑scripted roles during simulation exercises, adapting improvisations as required.
• Maintain professionalism, consistency and confidentiality across multiple simulation sessions.
• Document participant performance and training outcomes using UNODC‑approved formats.

Required profile

• Ability to study and internalise detailed scripts and character backgrounds.
• Comfort delivering realistic role‑play in a virtual training environment.
• Strong attention to detail and capacity to follow facilitator instructions.
• Commitment to confidentiality regarding training content and participant performance.
