Hardware Development Engineer – Renewable Energy Startup

About the role

Join a fast‑growing GreenTech startup that is turning road infrastructure into a new source of renewable electricity. As a Hardware Development Engineer you will take ownership of the electrical hardware that powers one of the world’s first scalable road power plants, moving the technology from prototype to international deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop printed circuit boards (PCBs) for the road power system.
• Lead the full hardware development cycle, from concept and schematic design to testing, validation and production readiness.
• Collaborate with mechanical, software, hydraulic and physics engineers to solve interdisciplinary challenges.
• Perform hardware testing, troubleshoot issues, and iterate designs based on performance data.
• Document designs, test results and production specifications.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Hands‑on experience with PCB design and hardware prototyping.
• Ability to work autonomously, take ownership and move quickly in a startup environment.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and willingness to tackle complex, real‑world challenges.
