Event & Groups Manager (m/w/d)

About the role

As the head of the Events & Groups department you will lead the planning and execution of all hotel events, seminars and partnership projects while ensuring commercial targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the Events & Groups department and ensure smooth execution of every event.
• Plan, coordinate and manage events, seminars, internal functions and customer partnership projects.
• Work closely with internal Food & Beverage teams on cost calculations, planning and final billing.
• Collaborate with the Sales Manager to manage key accounts, build long‑term client relationships and drive new business.
• Monitor budgets, KPIs and commercial objectives, and implement improvement measures after each event.
• Handle customer complaints professionally and maintain high service standards.
• Motivate and develop the team, conduct performance reviews and manage staff scheduling.

Required profile

• Several years of experience in the events and catering industry with initial leadership experience.
• Positive attitude, enthusiasm and a hands‑on mentality to ensure events run smoothly.
• Ability to stay organized and keep a cool head under pressure.
• Strong communication, reliability and a focus on budget responsibility.
