Documentation Specialist (w/m/d)

About the role

ABB Energy Industries in Wiener Neudorf is looking for a Documentation Specialist who bridges business innovation and technical excellence. The role turns operational requirements into digital solutions by applying application management, process automation and continuous digital improvement, working with project management, engineering, sales and external partners. It reports to the Operations Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop business applications through technical administration, system configuration, master data management and user authorization frameworks.
• Analyse business requirements and turn them into detailed functional specifications, coordinating with internal and external development partners.
• Ensure software quality through test planning, functional and acceptance testing, release coordination and thorough documentation.
• Support operations and project management with data-driven reporting, process automation and user training.

Required profile

• 1-2 years of professional experience in documentation management or a related technical field, preferably in project-driven or engineering environments.
• Ability to work independently while following established processes.
• Professional fluency in English (minimum B2) and German (minimum C1).

Required skills

• Technical foundation with a strong understanding of document management systems and version control principles.
