Distribution Sales Manager (m/f/d)

About the role

As Distribution Sales Manager you are responsible for one or more sales partners and play a central role in expanding NetApp's partner business in Austria. You work closely with distributors and their partner network, develop new business opportunities and ensure NetApp is successfully positioned and continuously developed with partners. The role combines strategic partner development with a clear sales focus: identifying growth potential, activating new and existing partners and building new pipeline together with distributors and sales teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and own business plans with distributors and implement joint growth initiatives
• Expand the Distributor-Managed Partner (DMP) ecosystem and win, activate and develop new and existing commercial customers
• Identify market and business opportunities with distributors and partners and build a sustainable sales pipeline
• Develop and steer demand-generation activities to win new business and customers
• Work closely with regional NetApp sales teams on co-selling activities
• Run regular business reviews and forecasts with distributors and ensure business plans are delivered

Required profile

• At least 5 years of experience in sales, channel or partner business, ideally in data centre or infrastructure environments
• Proven track record of acquiring new customers and growing revenue
• Experience working with distributors and/or channel partners
• Hunter mentality: enjoying identifying and driving new business opportunities
• Able to build long-term, trust-based partnerships while focusing on pipeline, growth and results
• Fluent German and English, willing to travel regularly within the region
