Content & Event Marketing Manager

About the role

zerothird is building the European quantum network and is looking for a Content & Event Marketing Manager to join its Vienna team and work directly with the CMO. This hybrid role combines strategic storytelling, content creation and high-profile event marketing, turning complex topics in security, infrastructure, resilience and quantum technologies into compelling stories and experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Turn product, technology and business topics into stories and thought leadership, monitor trends and write articles, posts, short videos and executive content
• Manage content across website, blog, LinkedIn, Medium, YouTube and newsletters, and own the SEO/GEO strategy
• Own the company's presence at trade shows, conferences and sponsored events, prepare teams with messaging and assets, and coordinate with event partners
• Create and run high-profile, invite-only executive events such as dinners, roundtables and fireside chats, including the story, speakers and guests
• Manage the guest journey from invitation and outreach to RSVP, execution and follow-up, using tools such as Luma or Eventbrite, and transfer contacts and leads into the CRM

Required profile

• At least four years of experience in content marketing, communications, editorial, event marketing or a related field
• Excellent storytelling and writing skills, with proven multi-channel content creation
• Hands-on SEO experience and experience planning and running both industry and executive-level events
• Confident working with C-level executives and senior stakeholders
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Excellent German and fluent English; a background in cyber security, telecommunications, banking, critical infrastructure, resilience, quantum or B2B technology, and B2B SaaS, is a big plus

The minimum gross salary is EUR 2,881.97 per month for full-time employment, with a willingness to offer more depending on experience and qualifications. The company encourages applications from women and may give preference to them where candidates are equally qualified.
