Job description
About the role
Red Bull's Global Procurement team is looking for a Category Insights Professional for its indirect procurement categories. The role turns complex procurement data into insights that support category strategies, sourcing decisions and supplier management. You will work with Category Managers, Strategic Procurement Managers and business stakeholders across global and local teams, and contribute to data and reporting projects.
Key responsibilities
- Spend visibility and contract analysis: collect, consolidate and analyse spend and contract data from procurement systems, finance platforms, BI tools and internal stakeholders, harmonising it across indirect categories and keeping reporting consistent and traceable.
- Supplier insights and performance: combine internal and external supplier data to improve transparency, help managers understand supplier performance, identify risks and improve reporting consistency across regions and categories.
- Category strategy and sourcing support: bring together category data, savings and performance indicators to support strategy development and reviews, and help implement category-specific sourcing standards, tools and processes, including tender support.
- Market intelligence and data visualisation: develop pricing trends, benchmarks, value chains, supplier landscapes and risks, and turn them into dashboards and recommendations.
- Stakeholder collaboration: understand stakeholder needs, identify improvements and contribute to data and reporting projects.
Required profile
- At least four years of relevant experience in procurement, analytics or category management, preferably in a global environment.
- Business-fluent English, written and spoken; German or other languages are a plus.
- Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to collaborate across functions and regions.
- A proactive approach to continuous improvement and the ability to prioritise and maintain quality standards.
Required skills
- Data structuring, interpretation and visualisation with Power BI, Tableau or comparable tools.
- Data storytelling: turning complex findings into clear insights and recommendations.
- Understanding of procurement processes, category management and supplier performance management.
- Experience with procurement systems and data sources such as SAP Ariba, ERP systems and BI tools.
