Senior Technical Consultant - Coronary Therapies (Alpine)

About the role

Medtronic is looking for a Senior Technical Consultant for its Coronary & Renal Denervation (CRDN) business within the CardioVascular portfolio. You will work remotely, covering Switzerland and Austria, and help implement the CathWorks (CWX) technology in hospitals while driving adoption and delivering training. Meetings at a Medtronic location may be required occasionally.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and run initial training sessions for the CathWorks suite, including shadowing users, theoretical training and assistance with first clinical procedures.
• Support adoption during early implementation by working with local Sales Representatives and tracking activities with the headquarters team.
• Run follow-up training for new and existing users, especially when new tools or features are introduced.
• Train local Sales Representatives during live and demo cases so they can certify proficiency.
• Help local commercial teams deliver product presentations and demo cases in target accounts.
• Provide "train the trainer" resources so hospital staff can train their own personnel.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering or a closely related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in computer science or technology implementation in healthcare, focused on medical systems integration.
• Strong knowledge of angiograms and cardiac anatomy, with expertise in imaging technologies.
• Proven project management skills and strong customer service and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively, up to 80% of the time, within the country of residence and across key EU countries.
• Good written and spoken German and English.
