Senior Consultant (m/f/d) - Management Consulting

About the role

Oliver Wyman, a global management consulting firm, is hiring a Senior Consultant in Vienna. You will lead workstreams on client engagements, from problem definition through implementation, and help shape the problems tackled and the specialized expertise sought after.

Key responsibilities

• Lead workstreams on client engagements, structure analyses and develop actionable recommendations
• Frame hypotheses, identify key business questions and direct quantitative and qualitative research
• Apply structured problem-solving and analytical thinking to complex business issues
• Produce client deliverables such as presentations, analyses, workshops, models and discussions
• Coach junior team members and build trusted client relationships
• Travel within the home market and internationally as client needs require

Required profile

• 2-4 years of relevant experience at a top-tier strategy consulting firm
• Undergraduate or advanced degree from a top academic program
• Experience in banking, financial services, insurance, private equity, energy or transportation is advantageous
• Business fluency in German and English
• Willingness to travel internationally

Required skills

• Outstanding analytical and quantitative problem-solving abilities
• Cross-functional, fast-paced teamwork and strong written and verbal communication
• Ownership, adaptability and resilience under pressure
• Experience using generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini or Claude
