Senior Atlassian Cloud Engineer

About the role

As a Senior Business IT Engineer focusing on Atlassian Cloud, you will drive architectural strategy at an enterprise scale for a high‑growth fintech ecosystem. You will partner with cross‑functional teams to solve complex integration challenges, build advanced automations, and shape governance models that support fast‑moving business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Architecture & Governance: design, configure and optimise Atlassian Cloud products at enterprise scale, establishing standardised configurations and governance models.
• Drive advanced solutions: analyse complex business requirements from cross‑functional stakeholders and translate them into scalable technical solutions, from analysis to delivery and documentation.
• Empower data‑driven decisions: create advanced Jira reports, high‑level dashboards and custom planning views for leadership and business units.
• Automate & integrate: build sophisticated automations and integrations with other enterprise tools using third‑party apps and REST APIs.
• Mentorship & enablement: conduct specialised training, advocate Atlassian best practices and mentor junior engineers.

Required profile

• Proven expert in Atlassian Cloud with 3+ years of hands‑on administration, engineering and scaling in a fast‑paced enterprise or scale‑up.
• Strong problem‑solver with experience in Assets (Insight), advanced automation (native, JMWE, ScriptRunner) and REST API integrations.
• Strategic communicator comfortable with stakeholder management and guiding teams toward sustainable best practices.
