Repair Assistant EMF (f/m/d)

About the role

ABB's Machine Automation division in Eggelsberg is looking for a Repair Assistant EMF (f/m/d) who reports to the team leader. The role ensures that electronic assemblies meet high quality standards by identifying and resolving defects, contributing to stable and reliable production. The work model is onsite in day shift.

Key responsibilities

• Repair and rework electronic assemblies in line with IPC-A-610 and IPC-A-7711
• Perform visual inspections as well as microscope and X-ray inspections of assembled printed circuit boards
• Identify, systematically record and document defects and recurring failure patterns
• Analyze and resolve root causes of defects to keep the ICT process running smoothly

Required profile

• Completed technical education or vocational training (apprenticeship, technical school or comparable qualification)
• Technical understanding and experience in electronics manufacturing
• Careful, precise and quality-conscious approach, commitment to structured work, good communication and collaboration skills
• Good written and spoken German to understand work instructions clearly

Required skills

• Soldering skills are an advantage
• Knowledge of IPC-A-610 and IPC-A-7711
