Producer - General Events

About the role

Red Bull is looking for a Producer for its General Sports and Events Media Team in Salzburg, Austria. As the creative content lead, you will shape the creative vision and content strategy of the General Events team, working with Communication Managers, Channel Management, Production Management and local country teams to deliver engaging content that reinforces the brand. You will also strengthen content capabilities across country teams and share expertise and best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Translate the General Events strategy into a creative vision and develop content strategies and innovative formats with the team and Communication Managers
• Align content with audience insights, platform requirements and programming objectives, working closely with the Channel Manager
• Lead end-to-end content productions from concept and pre-production to post-production, acting as producer, director, creative lead or commissioning producer depending on the product and scale
• Coordinate with Production Management and the Live Broadcast team on scheduling, locations, crews, legal processes and delivery
• Commission internal central content teams and external partners, including agencies, freelancers and creative talent
• Identify and establish co-production opportunities with third-party platforms, brands and broadcasters with the Media Partnerships team
• Collaborate with local market teams to raise the quality and consistency of local productions, share best practices and identify locally rooted content with global potential

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience developing and commissioning non-live content projects
• Proven track record producing distinctive content, including long-form, short-form and social media formats
• Editorial expertise and the ability to give clear, constructive feedback on ideas, treatments and productions
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
• Team-player and self-starter who communicates efficiently in a multilingual, multicultural environment

The stated minimum salary under the collective agreement is EUR 2,760 gross per month, but the actual pay is market-oriented and higher. The role is full-time.
