Data Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Data Engineer who enjoys building reliable data pipelines. You will design, develop and operate scalable ELT processes that power analytics, reporting and core product features. The role works closely with backend, frontend and product teams to translate data requirements into robust solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain scalable ELT pipelines.
• Implement data workflows on AWS services such as Lambda, Step Functions, S3 and Batch.
• Contribute to the evolution of our data platform using a Medallion architecture.
• Ensure data quality, consistency and reliability across all pipelines.
• Optimize transformations for performance and cost efficiency.
• Monitor pipelines, troubleshoot issues and improve observability.
• Document data models, transformations and architectural decisions.

Required profile

• Strong Python programming skills for data processing.
• Proven experience building production ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Solid hands‑on experience with AWS services (Lambda, Step Functions, S3, Batch).
• Understanding of Medallion architecture and dimensional data modeling.
• Expertise in SQL and working with structured and semi‑structured data (JSON, CSV, Parquet, APIs).
• Familiarity with data validation and quality practices.
• Experience using Git and CI/CD pipelines.
