Shopfloor Intralogistics Expert – Production Logistics & Digitalization

About the role

As a Shopfloor Intralogistics Expert you will lead the development and standardisation of production logistics processes, focusing on material flow and transportation within our manufacturing sites. You will also drive the evaluation and piloting of cutting‑edge technologies to automate and digitalise shop‑floor logistics.

Key responsibilities

• Design and harmonise shop‑floor intralogistics processes across global production plants.
• Evaluate, pilot and implement new technologies such as AGVs/AMRs, e‑labels and RTLS.
• Support worldwide roll‑outs of standardised logistics processes and digital solutions.
• Act as the global intralogistics expert, advising plants on process optimisation and digital integration.
• Contribute to the Digital Manufacturing strategy through requirements engineering and use‑case structuring.

Required profile

• Completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in logistics, production engineering, automation or a related technical field.
• 3–5 years of experience in production logistics, intralogistics, material‑flow optimisation or Industry 4.0 initiatives.
• Strong understanding of production and intralogistics processes with a keen interest in digital technologies.
• Analytical, structured working style with experience in process analysis, requirements engineering or standardisation.
• Excellent English skills, intercultural communication abilities and willingness to travel up to 20% worldwide.
