Service Depot Technician – Research Devices (m/f/d)

About the role

The Service Depot Technician will join the European Service team in Salzburg, providing in‑house repair, maintenance and calibration for Molecular Devices' Multimode Plate Reader platforms. You will work directly with cross‑functional teams to ensure high‑quality service and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Perform repair, maintenance and calibration on Multimode Plate Reader instruments.
• Test, troubleshoot, repair and recertify MultiMode Validation plates following established protocols.
• Document all activities and manage service records using the CRM database.
• Maintain adequate stock of service parts to support repair operations.
• Collaborate with Service, Product Development, Operations and customers to resolve issues.

Required profile

• Basic education in electrical, electronics or mechatronics.
• Hands‑on mechanical aptitude and strong systems troubleshooting ability.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high quality standards in an ISO 9001 environment.
• Results‑driven mindset with a passion for customer satisfaction.
• Willingness to work onsite in Salzburg, Austria.
