Technical Project Manager – Crypto & Security

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to join the Project Management Office of NXP's Crypto and Security Competence Center. You will act as the security group representative on product development projects, ensuring security objectives are met from concept through certification.

Key responsibilities

• Represent the Crypto and Security Group on product development projects, tracking security‑related activities and reporting risks.
• Facilitate global project calls, create top‑level project plans, and ensure security milestones are achieved.
• Serve as first‑line contact for security issue escalations and produce security reports for milestone reviews.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Security, or Computer Engineering.
• Proven experience as a technical lead or product owner in the semiconductor industry with strong project‑management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, travel occasionally, and communicate clearly in ambiguous environments.

Required skills

• Project‑management tools (e.g., MS Project).
• Knowledge of security standards ISO 21434 and IEC 62443.
• Understanding of cryptography and embedded system design.
